CHAIRMAN'S PROFILE
MR.UDAY KUMAR.V Chairman of Mac-n-Hom Marine Equipments(P) Ltd, had his Graduation in Technology (Mechanical) from College of Engineering, Trivandrum(CET) and his Master degree in Business Administration from Cochin University of Science and Technology, (CUSAT) Kochi.
He had joined in NC Machines (P) Ltd. through campus interview as Engineer (Designs) in 1986. He resigned in 1994 as Manager (Designs), having associated with various projects during his service, including the following:
- Design and Development of CNC Turn Mill Centre NCM-15CNC, NCM-25CNC, NCM-40 CNC and NCM-65 CNC.
- Design and Development of 60 ton Universal Stamping and Forming Machines and was being exported to M/s. AMP Inc, USA.
- Design and Development of one metre diameter indexing chuck regularly used in machining of valves.
- Design and Development of Hydraulic Winches to Indian Navy which range from 2 tons to 20 tons.
- Design and Development of Special Purpose Machines to suit customers requirements.
He has undergone intensive training in ISO : 9001 Quality Systems at the Bureau of Indian Standards. He is a member of various professional forums, including:
- The Indian Institution of Plant Engineers.
- Institute of Standard Engineers.
- Autocad User Group International (AUGI).
- Indian Institute of Materials Management.
In 1994, he initiated a proprietary concern, Mac-N-Hom Systems, to design and develop Special Purpose Machines.
In 1998, he started a Trading/Agency division for Mac N Hom, who were appointed as ‘Product Application and Marketing Engineers’ for the State of Kerala and Kanyakumari District of Tamilnadu by the following principals
- M/s Mercury Pneumatics (P) Ltd, Mumbai for their Pneumatic and Hydro-Pneumatic Products.
- M/s Electronic Switches (I) (P) Ltd, Nashik for their Proximity Sensors, Photo Sensors, Operator Safety Guards, Timers and Counters.
